Lower Trinity Class II Scenic Trip

available April through July

This trip is the best combination of our favorite Lower Trinity runs! It’s incredibly scenic and still has fun rapids and plenty of flat water for splashing around and playing. It’s a great trip for families and its close proximity to Willow Creek makes it an easy destination from our shop.

  • Meeting time/location: 10am in Willow Creek
  • Return: ~2:30pm on third day

Lower Trinity to the Klamath - Class II Scenic Trip

available April through mid August

If you’re looking for a scenic mellow float that will put you far into the Northern California wilderness, then you’ve found your trip. Launching from our shop in Willow Creek, you will get to camp overnight in the gorgeous Tish Tang Gorge, pass through some fun class II+ rapids, enter into the remote and seldom traveled Weitchpec Gorge, all before reaching the confluence of the Trinity and Klamath Rivers. No other stretch on the Trinity will have you feeling so surrounded by rugged and vast wilderness.

  • Meeting time/location:  8am in Willow Creek
  • Return: ~3pm on third day

Upper Trinity Kayak/SUP Scenic Trip

available April through early June

This is the upper Trinity’s most scenic beginner run, remote and mostly flat water. This trip launches from our shop in Big Flat, which is closest for travelers coming from the east (Weaverville/Redding).  This trip runs early season while the flows are still up and would be a great trip for anyone wanting to paddle an inflatable kayak or stand up paddle (SUP) board! And with three days on the river, by the time it’s over you’ll be a pro! 

  • Meeting time/location: 8am in Big Flat
  • Return: ~7pm on third day

Upper Trinity Class III Whitewater Trip

available April through July

This is a perfect trip for those wanting a full-on overnight rafting experience! With three days on the river, you'll pass through several miles of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. You will have plenty of time to relax, splash and play, plus, you'll get to pass through our most popular and exciting whitewater run!

  • Return: ~1pm on third day

Lower Klamath Class II-III Scenic Trip

available April through mid August

The Klamath River is one of the first rivers in California to be granted National “Wild and Scenic” river status; it has much to offer as it runs free for 180 miles to the Pacific Ocean. It is home to nearly 100 species of mammals and 280 species of birds. The upper stretch is home to thrilling class III-V whitewater- a boaters dream. Anglers are pleased with its world famous and bountiful salmon and steelhead runs. Nature lovers enjoy splendid and diverse wildlife and scenery as it carves an ancient path through some of America’s most wild country- the Cascade, Siskiyou, Sierra, and Lost Coast Mountain Ranges. The Lower section of the Klamath in California gently winds through scenic brilliance in the northwest corner of the state near the Oregon border. This trip is family friendly or adults only.

  • Meeting time/location: Happy Camp, CA at 9am
  • Return: 3pm on third day
