Our Locations

Six Rivers Rafting has TWO locations, one each in Humboldt and Trinity County.    If you are renting gear to raft, kayak or SUP, on the lower Trinity or Klamath Rivers then please meet us at our downtown Willow Creek location at 39050 CA-299, next to the pharmacy. If you are boating on the upper Trinity, with a guided Whitewater Trip,  then you will be meeting us at either our river home 1.5 miles upstream from the Pigeon Point Campground at 38400 CA-299, Junction City, CA, 96048 or downstream at the Big Flat River Access, just west of Big Flat.

Coming from the east/Weaverville/Redding: Head west on Hwy 299 through Weaverville and keep going over Oregon Mnt. You will go through the tiny town of Junction City, past the store and the last gas station.  We’re another ~5 minutes down the road on the left.  We are about 20 minutes from Weaverville, and about 1 hour 30 minutes from Redding (more if road construction). If you see Bagdad River Access or Pigeon Point Campground, then you’ve gone a little bit too far.

Coming from the west/Arcata: Head east on Hwy 299 from Highway 101. You will go through Willow Creek (and past our rental office there), keep going, you are half way there.  After another 45 minutes you’ll drive through the tiny rafting town of Big Flat and past the Strawhouse Cafe, keep going, you’re about 7 miles away now. After you pass the Pigeon Point Campground/River Access and Bagdad River Access, you know you are getting close.  You’ll see our big signs on the right!

Class II Whitewater Trip, Hayden Flat Trinity River:
Big Flat River Access, Del Loma CA

Coming from the east/Weaverville: Head west on Hwy 299 from Weaverville. Big Flat is about 30 minutes from Weaverville, or 1 hour 30 minutes from Redding (more if road construction). Upon entering the small town of Big Flat you will see the Straw House (a bright yellow café on the left side of the highway). Continue to Big Flat River Access, it is located just past “town” on the left side of the highway. You will see a large parking lot, pit toilet, and sign that says Big Flat River Access. There is no gas or cell service in Big Flat, so fill up and make your calls before you leave Weaverville.  You’ll see our big white vans and red rafts!

Coming from the west/Arcata: Head east on Hwy 299 from Highway 101. Big Flat is about a 1.5 hour drive from the coast Eureka/Arcata/Trinidad. You will pass by our shop in Willow Creek – keep going – you’ve got about 45 minutes to Big Flat from here. The town of Big Flat is just 3 miles after the town of Big Bar, CA. Just before entering the small town of Big Flat you will see Big Flat River Access, it is a large parking lot on the right side of the highway with a pit toilet and a sign that says Big Flat River Access.  We’ll be there with our white vans and red rafts!
